I am a doctoral level psychologist, and I am licensed in NY, NJ and 41 other states (for a full list, please see https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap). I provide both online and face-to-face sessions. In addition, I am a supervisor (medical board approved voluntary faculty) at Lenox Hill Hospital on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
I am a firm believer in individualized treatment. Therefore I make sure that my clinical practice includes a variety of theoretical approaches that I use flexibly, based on who you are as a person.
I base my primary approach in integrated, well-rounded, evidence based practices including various psychodynamic theories such as attachment theory and relational psychotherapy; cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). Because emotional experiences are closely connected to the body, I may invite you to notice bodily sensations during our sessions, integrating psychosomatic perspectives into our work.

My background in adult clinical psychology
I have worked at both adult inpatient and outpatient units of major hospital clinics in New York City since 2009, including Beth Israel Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital, South Beach Psychiatric Community Center, and The Jewish Board. In addition, I spent four years at the New School Counseling Center working with college students who seek psychological testing services.
