Adult Psychotherapy

shutterstock_380163571I am a doctoral level psychologist, and I am licensed in NY, NJ and 41 other states (for a full list, please see https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap). I provide both online and face-to-face sessions. In addition, I am a supervisor (medical board approved voluntary faculty) at Lenox Hill Hospital on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

I base my primary approach in integrated, evidence based practices including Attachment Based Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention, Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Approaches, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR),  Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy, and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (with minors).

My background in adult clinical psychology

I have worked at both adult inpatient and outpatient units of major hospital clinics in New York City since 2009, including Beth Israel Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital, South Beach Psychiatric Community Center, and The Jewish Board. In addition, I spent four years at the New School Counseling Center working with college students who seek psychological testing services.
